On Thursday, June 25, 2009, legendary pop artist Michael Jackson collapsed at his home. He was rushed to the hospital, but the paradamedics could not revive him. He died of cardiac arrest.

This is sad news for a lot of people. Although I was never really a huge fan of Michael Jackson, he did inspire a lot of people. It is a bit of shock for me, and it is a little saddening. Even though he was a freak, he had talent and could dance, sing and write music.

Michael Jackson basically re-invented the Pop industry as we know it. Even though the music industry changed much since his time, his music is still considered great and many people still listen to it.
